Hopefully I'll have the first update on the Spitfire in a bit

I've sawn some more slots into the fibreglass bonnet, and built a little makeshift jig to try and sort out the shape of it. The bugger is that I can't find the resin for the fibreglass.

Other little updates are a set of big GT6 front brakes and a brake servo kit I've just bought from eBay.

I'm also having a rather difficult job finding a flexible hydraulic hose that will fit into the clutch slave in the Jag. No-one makes them anymore, and breakers keep cutting through them to get the engines out. To compound things further, I can't find an aftermarket hose that has the right size union on it.

So far, I've tried two Goodridge hoses (one for an earlier Jag and one for an E30). Despite the E30 having the same gearbox as the Jag, the clutch slaves are different. I've also tried a couple of loose hydraulic unions I've got lying around. I've discovered it's just a little bit bigger than a 7/16" union, but that doesn't help all that much.

I've now got hoses for a Series Landy diesel and V8 on the way, as they look like they might fit. Eventually I'll find one.
